Quality Pizza Co

@qualitypizzaco is a Hoboken New Jersey pizzeria with a second location in Midtown renowned for being a short walk from our Flatiron District hotel. It’s a typical slice shop, and a relative slice of quality in the pizza dessert of Midtown. We tried their Sicilian pepperoni slice and a basic cheese New York slice:

- The Sicilian pepperoni slice features a thick crust with a crisp, golden bottom and slightly charred edges. The crust has a somewhat light but sturdy texture. I prefer my Sicilian slices to be a bit more airy (a great Sicilian slice shouldn’t be as heavy as it looks), but this was still pretty good. The slice was topped with some nicely cupped pepperoni; though I would have given them 20% more char.

- The New York style cheese slice was a classic foldable one. It had just enough chew to give it structure without being tough. Baked correctly, it was pretty much exactly what you’d look for in a NY slice. It hit the spot.

Overall, it’s tough to find a better pizzeria to walk to in this area. So if you find yourself on 33rd street in need of a slice, Quality Pizza is worth a stop.
