Newport Pizza Company

The ‘Perfect Pepperoni’ 16” pizza represents a grease-forward New York-ish style pie. Note what’s left on the plate after just one slice in my 3rd pic. The sauce is mildly spicy although fairly minimal. Instead, the pizza is dominated by a plethora of cheese (a quality mozzarella & provolone blend) and pepperoni. While a bit of a greasy mess, they quality of ingredients is much higher than you’d get at a chain. The crust is chewy and very flexible / foldable, soaking up much of the grease, and with its bottom showing the pizza was cooked on a screen. I’m a tad of a screen skeptic and generally this crust could be more flavorful, but overall this was still a tasty pizza.
