Possible there was too much pepperoni on this one? The fault would be mine in ordering a custom double pepperoni with fresh mozzarella - The oversized toppings were at some risk of sliding off, so it was perhaps structurally unsound, but quite delicious (‘Non, je ne regrette rien’).
I first had Catch-A-Fire pizza as a food truck years ago. It then became the in-house restaurant of @madtreebrewing & finally a stand-alone restaurant. Their style is a sort of thin New York-Neapolitan. I like that they’re not afraid to have a healthy amount of char on the outer crust (the ‘cornicione’). It was an artfully leopard spotted crisp crust, with a nice bubble structure in the chewy interior. A quite good pizza, more thoughtful than you might expect inside a brewery (Cincinnati breweries are strong for pizza).
