Sfincione is not an every day item here, but when Allez does have it (watch for it on their Instagram), it is truly outstanding. In this Allez complicates Cincy pizza rankings: While @allezbakery is not a pizzeria, they have some of the best pizza in the city (@brownbearbakery is a similar case). I picture the sfincione here torn in half on my cutting board to show off the gluten structure in all its glory.

Sfincione is the *true Sicilian pizza slice* and ancestor of all the American square styles (Sicilian, Grandma, Detroit, etc).
