“It’s not down on any map; true places never are” - Herman Melville, Moby Dick. Deep in the bowels of a Columbus Fusian Sushi, you can find this pop-up pizzeria behind a door marked only with a wizard’s hat. @wizardofza serves “comfort style Sicilian pizza” featuring a focaccia crust with a sesame seed bottom (Inspired by Italian bread). Their eclectic style resembles a thinner grandma style pie more than some of the big bread-like Sicilian pizzas you see. The focaccia crust is on the heavier side (thanks to plenty of olive oil) and very crisp, such that a slice sticks straight out when you hold it (no bend at all). While here at the Joseph A Pepperoni Corporation, we cannot in good conscience endorse dabbling in the dark powers of the occult, we would nonetheless call @wizardofza a standout in the Columbus pizza scene.
