Village Square Pizza

Now celebrating its two year anniversary, @villagesquarepizza is a #WestVillageNYC pizzeria that specializes in Sicilian slices with a perhaps exorbitant count of lightly charred #ronicups - something you’ll never hear me complain about. It’s a bit more well done for a Sicilian slice, though the crisp crust is tempered somewhat bt pepperoni grease - seeping into the crust & preventing the slice from being too dry. Perhaps it’s not a “perfectly balanced slice”, with pepperoni so dominating the flavor and making for a somewhat spicy pie …but I’ve returned there several nights when “bopping around the village”, which in itself is an endorsement of @villagesquarepizza as one of my favorite Sicilian slices.
